Exercises

Four situations, and what you actually did in them.

Each one drops you into a real workplace moment and records every action. The score is mostly a set of facts you could check yourself — what you sent, what you committed to, what you never confirmed — not an opinion about your personality.

How the scoring works

60 points are facts. They come from comparing what you did against the documents in the scenario — the price sheet, the announcement, the authority you were given. Delete our answer key and these points do not move.

40 points are how you went about it. Whether you read before acting, whether you confirmed a figure with a person or let an assistant fill it in, and one short piece of writing judged on content rather than on how nicely it reads.

Every exercise ends by showing its sources and the reasoning behind each point it gave or withheld. If you disagree with a judgement, that disagreement is the most useful thing you can send us.
